The Sancerre 2011 of Langlois-Chateau grows on a 15ha flintstone vineyard, around the Château de Fontaine-Audon. It shines by its maturity, its complexity, the subtlety of its lemon freshness – combined to exotic flavours – a harmony of tastes, that stays and breathes in the mouth. The perfect wine for the summer, to be paired with an apéritif – with its refreshing side – but also a noble family fish. Goat cheeses, such as the famous Crottin de Chavignol, also form a delicious combination.
HANS JÖRG BACHMEIER from the restaurant BLAUER BOCK, in Munich, recommends it with its « Sea wolf on its bed of red paprika and aubergines with caviar».
