Langlois-Chateau in the Gilbert and Gaillard wine guide 2013!

The Langlois-Chateau wines get excellent grades and reviews again!

88/100 Quadrille de Langlois-Chateau Extra Brut 2004

Light yellow colour. Nose with some evolution mixing red fruits, a creamy note, a biscuit touch. A full and greedy palate also shows a pleasing freshness with a nice length that highlights the fruit. A high-end, very aromatic Crémant.

90/100 Vieilles Vignes du Domaine Langlois-Chateau Saumur blanc 2005

A capitous nose mixing ripe white fruits and citrus fruits. Ample, generous and opulent palate, whose power is tempered by a hint of freshness, that highlights the fruit and its minerality. Nice persistance, a gastronomic wine.

86/100 Vieilles Vignes du Domaine Langlois-Chateau Saumur-Champigny 2009

A nice deep red colour with young reflections. A nose on red fruits rather discreet, with a light torrefaction touch. Structured attack, rather firm, a solid evolution and the fruit stays present. A wine that privileges power. To match with a beef rib.
